Chamitha Cooray is one of the youngest music producers in Sri Lanka. Born in 92 He started his music career in 98 under the tutelage of Mr. Ananda Wijesiri and continued further with Miss Deepika Priyadarshani, Mr.Vishwa Paranayapa, Mr.Bodhi Kotuwa, Mr.Anil Mihiripenna and presently following under the guidance of Mr.Ranga Dassanayake.

He completed his primary and secondary education at Thurstan College. During his school life he guided the Oriental Orchestra since 2007.

Self-learning the techniques of music production, audio engineering and post production he continued to learn the techniques of Mixing and Mastering from Ranga Dasanayake Turning a new page in his music career.

In 2008 he formed The Knights Crew Band which used to play in School Occasions. During this Period He Started Music Production. 

His debut production Supun Sandak Se was composed in 2008 when he was just 16.Since then he has produced few songs and radio Jingles. In 2011 He Worked at Peppers Audio Production (Gypsies Studios) as the Recording engineer.

 

He is hoping to continue his higher education in Audio Engineering and start his own music production company.

In the future he is hoping to contribute more of his talents throughout the Industry.
